Last I had heard, the shoutbox was to be used on special occasion so I was setting it up on an external page so that people could use it whenever but we would integrate it on other pages when needed x-x

I suppose this was a misinterpretation on my behalf. We will have to talk again about deployment options because obviously this isn't a preferred method.

I was thinking the shoutbox can stay where it is to be used at anytime, and can be moved onto the homepage temporarily only during special occasions. Just wanted some user feedback to try it out first and be comfortable with it. If you prefer Bboy, we can disable it entirely to be used only for special shoutbox occasions.
