The thing with super rares is that they're supposed to be hard to achieve. That's why they're so expensive.
Well the problem with that is people are expecting more than what it was bought for in auctions. For example, the rainbow umbrella, you say it's worth 400k. So 400k x 4 (average price of shells) is about 1.6mil gralats, when it was bought for what? Around 200k or something? Yea there's not a lot out there but I mean 1mil?! Of course people might find more value to certain items, but to me, an item is just an item. You either can afford it, or you can't. People want more than an item is actually worth, but I guess that's just era for you.
The "shell" thing is just a way to put a value on items. Whether it's realistic or not is irrelevant.
For example: people doesn't expect you to give 400k shells for their rainbow umbrella. They expect you to give them, like, a pickaxe and a white umbrella for it.
I'm sorry for spamming my own thread, but this forum is quite "dead" at the moment.
Hmmm.. I wouldn't really say you could put set prices on items. Players buy items based on if they want them or not. Nether the less I can see you've put some time into making this, good job.
King of KingsFeel free to message me ingame for any help!
They are only worth as much as someone is willing to pay.
That doesn't make any sense...Originally Posted by Lord Greg

OK, here you go!"
That's pretty much your logic.
And your quote is "stolen" from another thread.
Seriously though lol. Who would spend.. what $200 real dollars for auction money towin something like a rainbow umbrella..
