What to get?

Hey,
So within several weeks, my birthday is coming up and I was offered one of several things.
I can't figure this out alone, so that's why I've come to you.
Note, I'm going to probably go with the highest chosen item.

I was offered the following:
1). iPod Touch 5th Generation - Tis seems very portable, it's small, specs are decent.
2). iPad Air 2 - The graphics and processor seem to work quite well. Not that portable.
3). iPad - Don't know what the current version is. This is rather large, which isn't exactly the best thing.
4). Samsung Tab 3 - Haven't heard the best feedback on this one, so not quite sure.
Last of all, 5). iPad Mini - Also not the most portable, but specs seem rather nice.

Post your opinion, but don't start a flame war haha. Oh and if you have any other recommendations, post them!

iPad Air seems large, so not quite too sure.

Just look on the bright side, you can do personal stuff on it in big screening.

I would go any of the tabs with a big screen or good specs. Personally i have samsung tab but thats just because i prefer samsung products. Because i mainly just watch movies on my tab, i prefer a large screen so if that is what you plan on doing, then ipad air or samsung tab seem advisable options.

Apple seems too overrated, don't get me wrong, I enjoy their products but it seems as if people will buy apple products no matter what, I'd say go for a samsung tab 3. It looks nice, and the start screen just fascinates me.
