As country side is a very big gmap, doesn't that mean more lag?
I mean, yes, it will make players spread which reduces lags in some areas, but adding levels to a server will make it more laggy.

I wouldn't care about the lag. It's countryside, something new and exciting. The least I would worry about is the lag.
as graal is very laggy already, it would definitely be helpful to upgrade the server especially since adding a giant gmap would overall add more data to process through our idevices. (i say idevices becuase, pffffttt who cares about android and fb. jk c

pretty sure the gmap is already on the server you just can't go to it.

Your game won't load any updates from the new gmap because you have not been to it.
Once you've entered the map, I can guarantee that your RAM will decrease a hell lot.
