I was wondering if era can have a 'tradecoin shop' that sells trade coins and buys trade coins. the tradecoins can be traded and the value will be of the same (e.g 1 gralat for 1gralat trade coin or 3 gralats for 3 gralats trade coin) the coins can be sold for the same value when it was bought . They can have many trade coins of different values, for example, 5gralat tradecoin will cost 5 gralats, 3 gralat trade coins will cost 3 gralats and so on. The following are the disadvantages and advantages of the tradecoins
Advantages
1.Easier and more convenient to get (mostly applies to those who purchase gralat packs)
Unlike other sellable items like shells and mushrooms, tradecoins can be bought easily using gralats that the player has. They will then be able to trade for items.
2.Easier to calculate(for 1 gralat tradecoins)
Since there will be 1 gralat tradecoins, it will be easier to calculate unlike other sellables for example, 330 trochus will still have to be multiplies by 3 to claculate the value in total. however, if players use tradecoins, 990 tradecoins can be easily calculated to be worth 990 gralats .
3.lesser discrimination of certain sellables
Some sellable items such as aerolata, is often discriminated by traders. Using tradecoins will reduce its discrimination .
4.Gives players more flexibility in trading
for example, if a trader wants to trade his item for 1299 gralats worth of sellable items, it will be easier to give 1300 worth of tradecoins and get a 1gralat tradecoin back. It would be easier instead of using shells or muchroom to meet the value. at the same time, it also saves space for trading. for example, to meet 1399 worth of gralats using mushrooms and trochus, the player might have to give 260 mushrooms and 33 more trochus, which will take up a total of two spaces in the table. if replaced with tradecoins, players can easily get 1399 worth of 1 gralat tradecoins, which will be easier.
Disadvantages
1.May fall victim into scams during trading
Every trading carries the risk of being scammed anyways
2.Popularity of other tradeble items will be decrease
lesser players will want trochus or other sellable items anymore. However, players can still sell the other sellables and use the money to purchase tradecoins so it isnt a very big problem.
