Why is the electricity blue and why does there need to be rainbow effects, no offence but it's an electric staff not a rainbow staff

when I think of electricity I think of blues.

My thought process for the art is, the changing color part color on the stick is, that's a charging chamber and its building ↑ enough of a charge to keep the electricity flame tip LIT. Like a pilot flame on a gas stove. ( I was trying to mimic that lightsaber look in the Event Coin Shop. ) The whole staff is compressed with plasma/electricity. When you trigger a button on the stick, it releases a burst bolt. LOL.
