Passwords aren't entirely safe to have in a game that requires you to log in from the inside compared to just identifying using only one email.

The email system is a viable method, the only reason most users accounts security end up being breached is due to giving access info of free will to other players. Adding a password would merely mean more info for the player to give out. There has yet to be any case of account security issues due to an outside source hacking information directly other than players trying to create phishing sites which we encourage players to report so we can take them down.

The last thing we want is for players to give out passwords that are also used for emails, bank accounts, etc

Noone wants to force players use password similar to their confedentional information.

Actually a PIN number linked within the email wouldn't really hurt.
Or maybe something like an Account Control: "Please enter your 4 digits PIN number to access the Trade Table!"

I agree that a stronger account system would be good but I'm not sure we'd be able to do that independently or if it would have to go through the hassle of all servers getting it and going through unixmad.
I like the pin idea though.

Well this account system is already fine it works fine , but i think that there must also be a pin for accesing trade table once an acc is logged in with a new device that would be fine
