Mail delivery

Whenever I deliver a letter I get a message on my screen saying "you posted the letter! You received $18! Go to the nearest post office to get the next letter!". (It's not $18 every time). And I have to click 'ok' every time to exit it. Why doesn't the message go at the bottom of the screen like in car missions? It's just annoying having to click out of the message every time I deliver a letter.

I'm not asking for it to be changed, I just want to know why it's like that. Is there a good reason for it being like that? Is that just the way it is? Please someone answer this. I know it's a little thing, it just bugs me. Also, please no mean comments on how I'm a noob for delivering letters. I just like delivering them.
