No. Windows 8 is garbage, I had to remove it and put on windows 7 on my Asus ROG.
Windows 8 is rubbish, I had to downgrade my laptop too.

I use Win8. Even with the tablet back-end, I enjoy some of the features it has over Win7 such as faster operating speeds and snapping windows. Many AIO PCs today come with touchscreen so it's become partly demanded for an operating system to have decent touchscreen support. I'm also glad that in Windows 8.1 the start menu is back. It's also nice to see community third-party itegratable features such as Start8 and etc that allowed this to happen without the update. I haven't really ran into any gaming errors as far as software goes, I tend to run into a few hardware errors just because of how outdated and under-powered my rig is.
If you can get over the metro UI and touchscreen orientation, I see it as a very nice OS. Especially when they had the professional version on sale for only $15 at launch. Many people that are heavily against Windows 8 are either extremely nostalgic or they just aren't willing to sit down for more than five minutes to test new features.

I like Windows 7 ,Windows 8 in my opinion is just a remake with a few little add on's.
