How do you make customs animated?

You open your computer, go into the internet, search "gimp" in google, download gimp, open gimp, open a custom you want to animate in gimp, go to layers, click "dublicate layer", make your eyes closed or whatever you want to animate, you click "dublicate layer" again, export your file as .gif, here you have a blinking head.

One thing to do once you have made your animation (in gimp) is to go to Filters->Animation->Optimize for gif. This small and extremely simple step will significantly lower the size of your file. If you export your animation without optimizing, admins might reject your gif head because it might take up too much memory. If you need help making animations i can assist you with that as well.
