Sooting and throwing are two different things-if you shoot something it is likely to go faster and farther and maybe a bit more pressure.Throwing will have less of those 3 things, therefore giving an advantage to the user.

what do you think the artillery cannon does?
The alternative to the Gas Gun would be the snowball launcher. Unfortunately, it's no longer available through shops.
