You can apply for both positions simultaneously, you'll just have to manage time for both of the work.

Every staff team checks warnings when it comes to hiring. If you have a large quantity of warnings, you better make the greatest application in history. Plus, even if you do have a bunch of warnings, you may have a chance, but it all depends on when your last warning was, to show you've changed from your past.
