How did Era get so...bad?

To all the players on nerfing guns, there's no need to keep posting threads about nerfing gun stats, give the staff a break! Be happy you have an OP gun. The nerfng situations above are just a joke, please don't flame me.

2012: Graal took a turn for the worst. In 2012, more players were joining. Which meant the server wouldn't be able to handle around 2500 players on at a time. Of course, this was the time when Stefan was around and cared for the servers. He gave a big upgrade to the server and lag was at a minimum. New Guns were being released from time to time. That meant a lot of nerfing and buffing will be happening. The staff... was going downhill. Slowly. A few PRs were joining. Some with some knowledge of the game, but terrible attitude.

Now I feel bad being part of the 2012 wave.

I would love to see every gun being nerfed to 1 less damage as Sam said. Maybe a little speed nerf for every gun as well. Its just not enjoyable to play a game where you get rushed by a bar user and die within 2 seconds.

Here's my thing. I currently feel that the kill time for most guns is fine. I DO feel that this game lacks in gun diversity. The most commonly used gun in bases, is the bar. Why? While some of you will try to argue with me on this matter, it is the best all-around gun. The fact that this weapon is powerful and easy to use makes it an obvious weapon choice, and in turn, diminishes gun diversity. I find, that, at least for me, this lack of gun diversity bores me and makes gameplay less interesting.

I think the best way to solve this would to actually nerf the bar's damage(hear me out) and bring it down to 9. This would, without a doubt, let players choose which gun they truly prefer, and not be awed into using the oh-so powerful bar to wreck havoc on their enemies. They now would be able to use the gun that truly fits their personal preferences. In other words, players could make more informed choices when using a gun: by looking at freeze, reload time, magazines size, rate of fire, etc; all things that should be added to the description of a gun when purchasing.

Just a thought I had. Considering how much more expensive the bar is, it should still have advantages in other areas of its stats
