Because you can shoot through walls while defending the base, people abuse this and it makes it hard for the attacker to kill them.
U can shoot over thick walls.
The paintball gun can this also but I don't know why they didn't disable that one
Just being me.
Any gun that can shoot over thick layer of walls is prohibited.
Yesterday I was in CTF, I use MG36 and Dylan was using his Paintball gun, both can be shoot over wall, but only work in Blue Base, you know why? Because Red Base wall are thicker than Blue one.
