I feel like a broken record. Please be patient. There were opinions by some staff shared and discussed; however, none of them were in a position to actually officially change the Upload Rules. That is the role of the Uploads Administrator, which is Layerd. He is aware of the discussions and varying opinions here and is currently working on revamping the rules. He advised me that once he drafts them he will post them here for your input before they are finalized.

Patience. As of now, the rules should not have been updated and should remain as they were until this new refresh is posted and stated that it replaces the prior rules from that point forward. I realize it is a controversial subject. Just remember:
1- as of right now the rules are not changed
2 - you will get the chance to voice your opinion and input all over again once Lay posts his draft of the refreshed rules.

Getting upset or repeating your same opinion on this thread over and over does nothing yet. Start formulating your thoughts, ideas, and reasons and post it when Lay posts the rules draft for review.

It isn't 100% confirmed that the new rules relating to the restriction of animal customs should be implemented.

We're just stating a skeptical opinion based on how we see animal customs are something fraudulent to many, including those who worked really hard on them from the start.
