I think they are talking like its a home or car loan. I go into gun shop buy bar for 40k and make monthly payments until its payed off meaning anyone with 40k will have a bar. Then staff will be repomen and confiscate 70% of them and put them in debters prison.
My answer just save your $$$$ till you have enough its a life lesson

This idea is good, but it can just get people to buy BAR easier. More lag, more noobs with BAR, more chaos.

I propose we should've a payment system like how it works in real life, where you can pay by hire purchase. This may make guns be more affordable.

This is how it works:
Take the BAR ($200 000) for example.

Down payment: When you first purchase it, you have to pay a downpayment of 20%, which is $40 000. In other words, you'll have to pay 40 000 gralats instantly. What happens to the remaining 80% ($160 000)? This is paid by a 4 months installment.

Installment: Each month, the customer has to pay $40 000 until the 4th month, when the payment is complete.

What happens if you can't pay the $40 000 in that month? You'll be jailed/banned for 2 weeks.

Suggestion: Since Era wants players to spend more gralats, we can also implement a compound interest, which increase the original price of the BAR by a little, but still affordable.

Doubts: I'm stil unsure whether a period of 4 months is enough.. Maybe the admins can decide whether to increase it. But please don't shorten it.

I hope you'll consider this idea!

With the number of players that would abuse this and not be able to pay it off, the player count would decrease significantly after a few weeks...

Less players = less lag
