Hello everyone.
Over the past 2 weeks we have gathered suggestions and wishes of you guys regarding new upload rules.
With those suggestions we have now updated our upload rules. Please take a look and give us feedback on them so we know if we missed anything.
The upload rules will be made official this weekend. The following includes some additional informations for staffs.
Feel free to just ignore them.

How to upload:
Say /checkuploads on client or use the upload tool in your staff
tools list to check on the waiting uploads.
Not following the rules will cause a block from the upload-tool!
If you are not 100% sure then ASK an experienced PR or a PRA/SPR
don’t just accept or reject and upload.
**NOTE: *Before accepting or rejecting, be sure to click the
"Color" button to cycle through a few colors and check for
transparency issues.
*EVERYONE NEEDS TO DO THIS ON EVERY UPLOAD!*
In the top left corner of your screen, under the map icon, you will see
a circle in which you can see the amount of waiting uploads.
Tapping the circle will also open the upload tool!
If you receive this message "you are not allowed to review personal
uploads" contact Layerd to get access to the uploads tool.

CUSTOMS IN GENERAL:
Changes:
All animal heads are allowed as long as they fit in the template*
Side note: They need to be pixelated - so no real-life cat images that are cropped in the head template.
Staff Heads:
Since there were many issues with staffs not owning staff heads we are going to create a room for staffs and players to review.
In this room we are going to add staff heads (1 per staff) that are actually owned by the staff. Any other heads staff uses is allowed to be uploaded by anyone.
Customs that use different colors in different frames are now allowed.
Please DO NOT upload any custom that does not adhere to the
following rules:
- Any images that may be deemed racist or offensive against a
- player(s) or real life individuals
- No translucent, invisible, or small heads and bodies
- No heads or bodies that only show outlines
- No images which may disturb game play such as flashing shields,
gore or violent-glowing shields, shields that cover more than ½ of
the player - No flashing images
- Do not upload customs which are significantly larger or smaller
than the templates - No customs which make you appear invisible on certain grounds
(such as grass-looking bodies/heads) - No images that are pictures of real life people or real life
animals* - No customs that are copyrighted such as Pokémon heads/bodies
- No customs that have logo's on them like Batman, Spiderman, Superman, Nike signs etc.
- We do allow customs with a weapon provided if it is NOT a weapon that
is sold in Era - Make sure the head/body is facing the right direction.*
Pay attention to all frames of a custom!
The player might try to hide inappropriate stuff in there.
(Player turns into a flower in the grab frame etc.)

HEADS:
Changes:
- We now allow small animations on heads. Such as mouth/ears moving as well as eyes.
- Some heads come in with a small bandana which is acceptable as
long as it doesn’t cover the entire head - Food heads are now allowed.
- Gummy bear heads are now allowed.
Heads WE DO NOT allow:
- Meme heads
- Heads with hats such as gasmasks or other hats similar to what we
sell in iEra - Moving heads, flashing heads
- No real-life pictures

BODIES:
Changes:
- Gummy bear bodies now allowed.
- Donut and other food bodies now allowed.
- We do not allow any body animations!
- We do now allow the doll bodies that were previously disapproved for being slightly too small.
The above changes only apply aslong as the body still has legs and matches the size of our current body template.
Bodies WE DO NOT allow:
- Blob bodies
- Bodies with weapons attached similar to any that we sell in iEra
- Mermaid bodies or other bodies without two legs that do not work
- within the Era player movement ganis
- Pay special attention to the grab frame. Sometimes the head is cut
- off or the players are trying to add something inappropriate to it.
- The head being cut off in the grab frame is a common issue. Please
- watch out for it. (example: wronghead5.png)
- We DO NOT allow real life pictures as heads.

SHIELDS:
We DO NOT accept shields which cover/hide/replace parts of the head
or body or shields which show up as hats, heads or bodies.
We DO NOT permit shields that include the head or likeliness of any
staff member or shields that are the same size as a player or could
cover another player. *
We do allow shield animations, but they
should not disturb the gameplay in any way! *Nothing drug-related!
shield max size = width < 512 and height < 128

GANG PICTURES:
Most pictures are acceptable as long as they do not include images
Or content which is vulgar or offensive towards someone else or
Otherwise inappropriate in general.
We do allow:
Copyrighted stuff
We DO NOT allow:
- Real life pictures are not allowed.
- Racism in pictures
- Any pictures of real-life people or animals
- Images or words that are offensive or slanderous towards another
player or staff - Pictures with sexual content
- Any pictures with anything drug-related
- Pictures that include text that is not english.
*Any player who uploads gang pics with vulgar or sexual content will
receive an immediate warning and if they submit something
inappropriate again, they are at risk of losing their gang as
punishment.*

PLAYER INSTRUCTIONS:
Please visit Era News at Start Park for additional information on
uploading and refunding customs. If you do upload a custom and
decide you don’t like it, you are able to refund the item for your
full purchase price IF you do this within 1 hour timeframe of when
you submitted the upload. After 1 hour you will receive 1/2 of your
original purchase price if you choose to refund a custom. If there
are heads that have been approved prior to 2013 that do not meet
these guidelines, they will be considered "grandfathered" in or
allowed to stay due to the duration of time since they have been
utilized in game.
If you would like to purchase additional character slots to save
your looks, you may also do this for $2,400 each at Vanderwoodsens
slot shop located in South ridge.
Custom head uploads=$20,000
Custom body uploads=$10,000

Things you should know:
If the uploaded file is a gif-file please wait some seconds to
ensure it’s approvable!
Weapons at the back of a body are allowed as long it´s not a weapon
of the iEra server!
If you accidently accepted a file or players need a fix / re-upload
of a HEAD or BODY (!) contact an experienced PR.
If you aren’t sure if you can approve a certain custom just use the
"next" button to head to the next upload or ASK experienced PR's or
a PRA/SPR and don’t just accept or reject.
We reserve the right to disapprove any upload for any reason that is not listed on these rules!

FOR PRs:
There is no certain limit anymore that you have to reach.
Just make sure uploads don't wait too long for its approval.

If errors are made- such as a PR accepting an upload that is deemed
"illegal" such as copyright, they should have their upload manually
refunded for half price- as they should have read the rules to
begin with and not uploaded a copyrighted image-
The command to do this would be /npcrefundupload filename 0
If it's an error with transparency or a technical fault that has
nothing to do with the actual attempted content of the upload them
should receive a full refund.
The command to do this would be /npcrefundupload filename 1
