It would be a bother to reduce items in the EC Shop... why not increase the map size or add some tiles??

In my opinion, its not really a good idea because you know, not all items are for sale by popular demand. To interpret it another way, you cannot possibly have an EC shop selling items that are popular among players although not many would buy those which are deemed to be "unpopular" . Moreover, what may seem unwanted by you may be something wanted by others. So, removing those items that were crossed out in the picture may not be a good idea and those items were also recently added.
