I hate having to go to my notifications and replying to my messages in an email form.

How about having a chat list? This can sort of be like facebook and users can have the option whether they want to turn this on or not. You can only chat with people who you have added as your friend and when you click on their name a text dialogue pops up allowing you to Chat to the person almost instantly.

Hello everyone, Instead of making a new thread i decided to revive this old thread.
Recently, I joined delteria forums and there layout is amazing.
I am not suggesting that we copy every idea like them, but how about an interactive bar?
e.g.



Notice how at the bottom, you can chat with any of your friends who are online; make chatrooms and so much more!

This idea would work on Tapatalk mostly but when it comes to using Era-Go at full version for mobile devices, it gets a bit annoying.

Spam has always had a rule against it, haha.

On topic: This does sound like a good idea, but like Star said, it could cause problems to those who don't want to use Tapatalk, probably because when using a tablet like the iPad for example, there is usually some delay in typing, and for all we know, the person using it won't get it right away due to lag issues with their internet. So technically, it won't be IM.

Wouldn't benefit me as much, as I don't use Facebook etc. but in consideration of other forums users I like it.
