How to recruit the right people for the job?

I was just wondering... a few times I've attempted to make a basing gang. I try and recruit people, and no one usually wants to join. Those who do usually are for some reason totally inactive from the day after onwards. When I go into bases with a few people they don't seem to even try, they just rush their way to the flag mindlessly....

I just want to know, how is it that people are even capable of gathering up a good amount of members who know how to base right? How do gangs even find loyal members who you could claim to be notable individuals within a gang?

Just like every other game, you have to start somewhere.
Why would anyone join a basing gang that had just started?
It's a waste of time, and the players don't benefit.
But like I said, you have to start somewhere.
It doesn't matter if you have bunch of flag rushers, or inexperienced players.
Its quite difficult to get to the top of the list, since there are gangs that have been basing since the start if the gang.

The few friends I have, have no interest in Era or Graal in general.... but I guess I need to just keep trying until I find some people who will be loyal and reliable.

You wont find any until you make a name for your gang. Try finding atleast one pro friend that will help.

Recruit a bunch a newer players and overwhelm bases with sheer numbers.

Start of with your friends, ask them to ask their friends, vice versa. If they seem to be putting zero effort in, offer up something nice that you're willing to give away to the baser which puts in the most effort over a certain period, (day, a week) keep doing this until your gang has enough hours to convince other players to join. But its more about setting a goal or a benchmark for you and your gang. And I'm not encouraging you to throw away all your items its just an idea.
