I don't know if you plums read Ace tips for applying as any staff position, but he said, If you were jailed a while back (a year or maybe 5 months) it won't affect your application. If you were jailed recently, it'll decrease your chance to be hired.

It doesn't really take long to receive a response to your application. Give it at least one month, and if they don't respond by then, you weren't qualified.
