Because it takes a week for every detail of news to get into the MercyNewspaper.
It takes a day for new updates to get in the regular "News"
I'll post it as soon as the particular event is announced via Staff Chat.
It's an instant way to know what's going on, of course I wouldn't post anything
that has been already been said in the "News" section.
