    How to Make Animations?

If anyone could possibly help me, I'm new to GFX and I'm practicing. I am in need of a program I could do animations (such as blinking eyes on a head) on. Thanks.

Mind if I ask, are you using gimp?

If so, refer to the spoiler below.
     Spoiler
To make animations in GIMP, you must think of each layer as a frame. The animation will occur in the order the frames are in.
For example, when making a blinking head animation (also known as a gif) you have to create each frame in the corresponding layers.

After you finish all the frames, click save as and change the .png to .gif.
A pop-up will then appear as you click save. Choose your settings and save for your gif!

It is actually not that hard. In fact, I taught myself how to make heads blink. This is really easy to do with GIMP. Just go to this link. Make a frame, save it as a different file, repeat. After that go to this website and put it all together!

That's quite a long process lel.
You can make gifs straight out of gimp with accessibility to all frames.

I'm also self-taught. It's not hard at all once you get the hang of it. It's worth learning since it really opens up your gfx options.
Feel free to PM "Scopez" in game. I swear I don't bite.

To be honest, best way to do gif heads^

GIMP speeds up the frames by 50ms, which is slow.. But if you reduce it, it slows it down by 50ms.
The gif generator that kurza put lets you put the "ms" to your personal preference.

It is however, lengthy and hard to undo mistakes if you're one pixel off.
With gimp you can access and edit each frame easily.
