After another 6 months to a year you are at level 75 and you are making 2K an hour. And if you continue on and make it to level 99 (after at least another 6 months to a year of mining) you would be making theoretically 46K an hour. You never make at that rate in reality cause you cant manually tap fast enough, it takes time to change mining position, and every 800 rocks (4+ minutes) you are going to have to stop and spend time to recharge your battery.
When you compare how much money you could have made spending all that time mining on making pizzas (which starts out day 1 at 2-3K an hour and holds that level forever) you might (or might not) wonder if mining really was worth it. Clearly mining, only after you get to level 80 or so, beats every other job in graal for gralats earned per hour, but is it worth the price you pay to get there? It's easy to say yes until you try it.
