Favoritism is the reason why i got good at leveling, but it's bad when it's abused to much for higher reasons.
I can sit here and complain like i always do and get a bigger rap sheet then it is.
All i can tell you is, that's something we can't fight, we all do it and we don't see how much it impacts other people.
that's why it's called Karma.

Just wondering if Firefly was basing with her player account. If she was using her player account, and not staff, then imo she shouldn't have to deal with getting on her staff just to warn the players who are cussing just to get off afterwards. She was just playing the game. However, if it was her staff, I agree she should've done something. This is no bias because she is staff, I've hardly spoken to her to build a "relationship". This is just my view. If I was on staff, I would have done something. However, if I was using my player account, I'd just report it and let someone else deal with it. Our player and staff accounts can conflict with eachother because of this.

Why should someone who wants to play the game, have to get on their staff just to warn/gag/jail or whatever and then get off right after? It's kind of annoying; the reason why the accounts are seperate, so it doesn't interfere as much.

But that's just me blabbing.

And i will call out names
When i used to base for grim Casper would always come and watch sometimes and say good job or something
Firefly would be basing with grim and like 20 grim members start cussing and firefly just continues playing
And ignores it completely like it never happened
I was at Bruce Dorvay's gang house for some player events with a bunch of other people and bboy
A ton of people were cussing and bboy ignored it like nothing wrong happened
Worst of all no one even notices but the players
EVEN WHEN YOU SHOW PROOF OF FAVORTISM THEY WONT GET FIRED
EVEN WHEN THEY SAY THEY'LL FIRE ANY STAFF THAT FAVORS A CERTAIN PERSON OR GROUP
EVEN THE ADMINS ARE FAVORING OTHER ADMINS
I see so many admins abusing their powers daily for their own enjoyment and entertainment
And NO ONE WILL FIRE THEM BECAUSE THEIR FRIENDS WITH ANOTHER ADMIN

Firstly, thank you for acknowledging it, Froz.Here's the full conversation between me and the favoritist.

Me: "Ciao Nyx, I was wondering if there was a way to tell if my PR app was read or not?"
Nyx: "It was and you lied about your age."
Me: "What the hell does that mean, exactly?"
Nyx: "You claim to be 25."
Me: "I don't claim to be 25. I am 25. Even if I wasn't, you'd have no way of proving it. Your claim is without proof and it's disgusting how bias you sound"

I even went as far as asking him if scanning my birth certificate would help. I am twenty-five years old, whether he believes it or not. The favoritism, however, isn't limited to Nyx. It has spread like a weed throughout the staff 'team'. They don't even read your application unless you're great friends with an already hired staff. You can not become a staff without becoming great friends with the team. I swear to God. That's the sad truth behind how biased some staff are. I'm not saying all staff are, though. Some staff are great people (Ace, DrDetroit, Crd while he was here, NorthCarolinaJohn, Toad, the list goes on). There are also some staff who aren't so nice, for all intents and purposes.

I'd love to, Reno, and I appreciate that you would think of that, however, the PRAs/SPRs are the ones breaking the rules too. They won't address a single issue if it is about one of the eldest members of the community. They don't do anything that frames their favorite members.

Nothing will be done. Ever. Staff are, justly, too busy with future game updates and events to even take a gander at these things. It's ruining Graal. This is one of the reasons why old Graal veterans are leaving; the staff don't acknowledge the real issues facing the community.

Anyways, the only thing that annoys me about the PRA's/SPR's anymore is that they honestly think every single player is lying to them about their age. They need to realize that they do NOT know that person, nor do they know how old they really are. You could be turning down applications from people that could have been amazing PR's because you don't believe their age. It makes me question whether or not some of the PRA's/SPR's have the maturity they are so highly praised for.

You're completely right, Tim, and that's why I have great respect for and of you. The PRAs/SPRs deny claims of players being so old, yet they claim to be. Makes no sense. Nyx shoots down the claim that I'm 25, yet he claims to be (around) 19-20, I think. He's not only a hypocrite, but also a prime example of irony.

It was probably not meant the way you think it was; I sometimes use it to mock my friends a bit - the term itself is stupid, so why consider using it in a serious situation?

Then yes, something should be done. Though I don't think staff should be able to base on their actual staff account, but that's just me.

I always say report, even though others think it's pointless. If there's a buttload of them it may take awhile, but they do get checked. Players also need to be in the act for us to do anything, so they can get away with it sometimes. It would be nice to be able to see past public "messages" as well.

It was also just in someone else's pk house, you could've left. Not trying to be rude or anything., but, I don't see what's bad with that. Unless he was being vulgar or harassing you.
