Advertising rules have changed!?

Hi all,
I know this is probably in the wrong section; if so please correct.
I was advertising a new GFX site that I have created and was told by Aero that advertising non-era go subdomains is no longer permitted.
I'm just wondering if this is true because the only way people would be able to search/share for new GFX is through google and other search engines.
Also same deal with the status? I was suggested to remove the link from my status
If it's a graal related website we should be allowed to promote it considering it doesn't do anything to harm anyone

Followed by Kane's consideration, contacted him before clarifying with a few people. Can confirm this did happen and it was under Kane's instructions.

As I said i'm not here to report Aero for being a bad mod, he's new and seems to be doing great. I'm just asking the larger community

Based on just GFX perspective, it is not a law-breaker.

I have to agree that promoting gfx sites for Graal should be allowed, technically it's not against any rules and it allows players who are not talented in that area to upload customs. + top level spelling Aero, 10/10.

I'm sorry to announce this but it has come to Snk's attention that the use of other websites that are harmful be it in your status or bubble chat is not allowed.

[UPDATE]: You can promote your own or someone else's sites such as blogs, customs, graphics, music etc but we won't tolerate with phishing sites.
Keep it to yourselves that sites that contains numerous virus or a threat is prohibited as of starting now.
