Well, GM4 is ideal for sparring because it has a relatively low freeze rate, medium spread and high fire rate. Although its mid reload and relatively low clip size can be a bit of a problem but overall its one of the very best spar weapons in my opinion

Stick with what you have. You will probably be disappointed with gm4 it's a good gun but nerfed too much. Bar is better. Actually every bar Stat is better except freeze.
I have gm4 however I don't use it too often. I prefer the semi firemode over auto. If you are good with spread. Get yourself the default gun. If you want very low freeze and spread AND the ability to be 100% accurate. Get the hk. One of my favorites. I recommend these three guns for sparring. It depends on your play style.
