I'm fully aware that it's pillow shaded.
I specifically did that so the texture would feel a bit, watery or bubbly, however you might call it.
Personally, I don't think the colours were a bad decision.

But that's just me, might seem different to you all.
I'm not sure what banding means...?

If you look at my second piece of work, you would see that I took Asaiki's advice.
I stopped the pillow shading, or at least I tried.
I changed the colours up.

How would you know if I took his advice or not?
I appreciate all kind if criticism.

I would if I could. Life let's me slip about 30 minutes a day of Graphics.
I don't exactly have time for lessons, much to my dismay.

However, I'll try contacting someone who can tutor me if I manage to slip
a few extra minutes to my free time list.

I can't really get the melee, like it has a shape of a sword but the something come out of it then goes from blue to grey. like it looks pretty good, just get rid of the pillow shading and add more intervals per each slide because the .gif is a little choppy. Also I recommend using a lighter shade of blue and working from top right light to bottom left dark. If you allow me to edit I'll try to show you what I mean.

Yea, I've kinda noticed that Pillow shading looks pretty bad.
I'll try shading from top to right and bottom to left, thanks for the suggestion.

The gif isn't supposed to the a Gani.
It's just to show the main changes to the melee's perk.
They're merely just simple slides.

With the edit, thanks for the offer but I want to try fixing it myself.
We could compare our finished products when we both finish, however.
I'd like to see how a pro does it..
