The Exotic Coin IS NOT A NEW CURRENCY

There has been rumors going around that this exotic coin is gonna be a new type of currency
First of all its useless at the moment and does nothing
It also most likely will not be a new type of currency
if its a new type of currency that means that a shop will open where you can buy items for the exotic coin
that will probably not happen since the only way to obtain the exotic coin is this Christmas for about a month
so pretty much if its a new currency the shop will be useless because you can no longer obtain the exotic coin
also as Vendhin said they are exceeding rare
do you really think they want you to buy over 100 presents just to obtain one exotic coin?

as an example lets say it will be a currency
so the shop opens
a cool item is being sold for 10 exotic coins
you would have to open about 1,000 presents to even afford it
and the exotic coin can only be obtained from $500 presents
and its not guaranteed to even get it so you could even get only 1 exotic coin from 1,000 presents
and so far people have only obtained the exotic coin from $500 presents
so thats 500000 gralats if you bought 1,000 $500 presents
with that many gralats you can get 1 bar 1 minigun and have 100000 gralats leftover
a $10 gralat pack in the US can get you 25k ish
so you have to get 20 $10 gralat packs to get 500000
so your wasting $200 dollars for a small chance to get even one exotic coin
and after a few months you can no longer open the presents or buy them
making it so you can no longer get this currency

Honestly I think this may be something that evolved internally from my "The Sewers" idea. Like, a secret society underneath the city, plus this exotic coin could have something to do with an exotic locale such as the one I suggested back in that thread. Either that or I'm overthinking on just a little bit of hard facts to go off of. A little bit as in just a single one xD idk I thought I might as well pitch my speculation regardless of the far-fetched-ness of it.

Let me stop you right there. If it is a new currency and comes with a new shop, there's more than likely a new way to earn them, aside from presents. Can't really make a solid claim when so little is known about the coin.
