Good night Graalians,
Today, I will be teaching you the do's and not to do's for judging on Era-Go Forums!
Graphics
You might not be an artist, but that doesn't mean you have the power to criticize someone's graphics. Sure you can judge! But keep in mind that your goal is to state the errors to the artist, not to hurt their feelings.
To Artists: When it comes to graphics, we get feedback. Sometimes, the feedback aren't very nice.. Be tough, though!
You must give the artist a very well built criticism.
Sure, you can say; "Good job!" "Nice!" Don't!
But what I've seen on the forums is that people tend to just say that. Artists seek feedback.
With that said, if they make an ugly hat, try to help them by your point of view. Give them helpful links to pixel tutorials or point out where it is needed to be fixed. It's better than saying, "Nice!" When in fact, it's an ugly graphic.
On the forums, we are here to help! Therefore, let's help others to succeed!
If they feel down or try to quit, get them back to their feet!
Ideas:
Most people on the forums keep saying the exact thing..
"The forums never have good ideas."
Think about it for a second. Why do you think we don't have good ideas?
When in fact, we do! They're poorly stated, but no one bothers to build it.
Think like this;
Authors of the thread put a brick on the ground. He's in need to build a wall.
What do we do? We laugh and leave. Don't!
What are we supposed to do?
Help the author to build up their wall! How? By telling them what will the pros and cons are and expanding the idea to a future project to staff.
If the forums collaborate and help each other with ideas, staffs would probably start hearing us out. 'Cause the small brick turned into a huge magnificent wall. A perfect idea!
I suppose that's it! Hope it was helpful. Get out there and help! Because it all starts from somewhere. To help here, you will help somewhere else in better cause.

Sincerely,
Kendrick
