The NSA already knows everything so there's no such thing as privacy. The FBI can probably make that software themselves if they really wanted to.

Completely with apple. The whole point of having private information is that it's private

Damn, Kieran, that's so biased towards Apple.

To make it brief, the FBI wants unlimited access to phone calls and texting records of suspected terrorists to put us at a lesser risk and or prepare for these radical Islamic attacks before they occur again. As much as I hate the corrupt liberal government we have under Obama and pray that the government's power and influence stays minimal in our lives, national security is our security and it is a non-partisan issue. Apple sure as hell better cooperate with the FBI because, if they don't, they're only making it easier for another shooting or bombing to take place and empowering these terrorists.
FBI all the way on this one.

I mean it depends. If the FBI uses it to track people even if they didn't do anything then it's wrong but if they use it to solve a crime then it's okay. The FBI and CIA are theoretically tracking us right now. The government knows you more than you know yourself. So the situation depends to have a definite answer. The FBI can save your life by using this but they might discover something you wanted to keep private.

personally, its for a good cause, but theres no telling if this software could leak out. very high chance it could. its just not worth it. there are evil people in the fbi and dirty cops, so i would have to go with apple. this software will wreak havoc if its leaked. theres just too high of a chance it will happen.

Looking at it now, yea you're right xD. I guess i just feel strongly about people being able to have their own privacy and to keep certain things to themselves.
