Why is the hair full black? Add some light colors in! As for the skin. The skin is too bright and too simple. Add in a shade color. You should really start to study and learn pixel art then editing a head.
Editing gives you no skill.

plus if that hair is true black you're going to have to change it anyways. practice with lighter blacks to create a shading pattern and have it fade off into darker colors around the edges.
P.S. Idk if some of you guys can ever tell the difference between cat ears and hats.
It's annoying when uploading, an admin sees cat ears and automatically assumes its a hat. smh
