A graphics card is what gives a PC the HD feel. The higher the number of pixels on a Graphics card there is, the better quality the monitor will receive. It's mostly needed top run high quality games.

    Not quite.

The graphics card is what is responsible for putting images to your screen. A graphics card does not have a "number of pixels". Integrated graphic cards are attached to the CPU directly, meaning that it can't display images faster than the clock speed. Also, the computer would need game code to run, so it can lag at times with newer gen games. Newer models of Intel HD Graphics can run low/mid demanding games at high settings. If you are a much more competitive gamer, a dedicated graphics card is what you'll need. Since it isn't on the CPU, it can run seperatly, meaning for a faster experience. VRam is also increased in dedicated graphics card, which means it can retrieve and put images on your screen much faster.

Not really.. she was just corrected.. I don't see how that was a burn.
A burn is when someone offends someone else.
