Breaking Down Weapons

So i know many times, people have asked for us to be able to get refunds for guns, and every time its shot down. However im proposing that we should be able to break down our guns at a black market and get weapon parts, which could be used to buy special weapons from the black market. They would be novelty guns of course, but they would have something cool that would make you want them. Any feedback or ideas?

That actually is much more viable than refunds, but the question is... is it viable enough?

Perhaps breaking weapons down gives you 3 random parts. However, each part has a 50% chance of breaking as you collect it. The total variety of different parts is 6 different kinds. You would need at least 3 of each minimum. Most guns in this "black market" are enhanced versions of cheap weapons. For example, for 3 of each part you could make a handgun, but instead of 6 damage it would be 7 and have faster fire rate. Or for 10 of each part, you could make an AK47 with 9 damage instead of 8 and much less freeze and higher fire rate.

The more expensive the weapon, the more parts. And there will be certain black market guns that will require a rare part (only obtainable from 50k+ weapons)

Or certain weapons would give you weapon frames of that weapon to buy upgraded versions of it.

I like this idea way more than the idea of refunding guns, to be honest.

For example, the weapons would havr ok stats, but wouldn't have anything that stood out. Unless you have say a GM4 frame, and 20 of each part, then it would be something that stood out. but it wouldn't be extremely op. it would just add something cool.
