    Semi-Transparency

I've got to admit, I've never learned this trick. Haha get it? No? Okay...

Anyway, I've been wanting to make some hats/masks with a semi-transparent area with colour where a player's eyes are placed. Like on the PK hats and gas masks kinda. Here's an example of what I mean, and don't worry I pulled this off Google:

Uhh the image is tooooooooooo big, so I'm putting it in a spoiler.

If anyone knows how to do this, it would be very much appreciated. ^_^

Okay so lets use this mask as an example. The area where the arrow is pointing to, is where I want to have it semi-transparent. Meaning I still want it to have the colour but also transparent at the same time. Enough transparency so that it will still have the colour too.

Look at her glassessssssssss, they have colour, yet you can see her eyes.

Just set opacity on the pencil/bucket to the transparency you want and fill in the area you want transparent, just make sure to not overlap.

I don't think layers affects the final product as long as there's no solid color behind the semi transparency, what I meant tho is to not overlap pencil strokes w opacity on them or else they'll make it darker ;o

    What program do you use?

If you use paint.net then you don't need to have a transparent background.
    Roaming.
