why not instead of being able dig inside your house, a plot of land is created with around 30 digging lanes. these lanes get bidded on every week ( not auctioned, you just place a bid throughout the week) and the higest bidder gets the digging lane for the next week with maybe a little npc of them showing their ownership, and so the cycle continues

Maybe there could be a sandbox furniture for your house where only 1-2 people can enter that sandbox to prevent the macros. If you wanted friends then you can just buy more sandboxes. Thoughts?

Came up with this idea while reading this thread. So no, not the "Sandbox Thread" as our ideas are slightly varied.

Seems nice, but it'd had to be a big area, 2-3 people max seems fine, but if you want to have a digging party with all friends trying to get that big crab and everyone killing it at once would be a pain cuz you can only have 2 people inside, rather just have houses enabled for digging

Yes crabs prevent macro, but the issue is that it is harder to catch/monitor players who dig in their own house. Macro is not the only thing players can abuse, some players use mods to speed hack and dig and unfortunately sometimes it's not detected by the system, so staffs have to jail them manually. Being allowed a private place of their own allows more of these cheaters to get away scot-free.

What I'd like to suggest is having a building with multiple rooms, a player will then "rent" one of those rooms, inside the room there'll plenty of sand and a bit of interior design etc. , the player will then have a time limit of how long he can have this "private space" , those with the same gang tag can enter that room. Almost similar to having that "private space", but this way it's easier for a staff to patrol around the rooms. The only con is the rooms might be fully booked all the time, not sure if this idea is practical.
