If staff impersonation, or impersonation in general is an issue. Why not have it so you can't use usernames that are already used?

Why struggle being impersonated when you can be the only one with the name.

Why not just stop impersonating? Besides verbally, a player cant imitate convincingly a staff member, so this is not a big problem at the moment. Just to advice the players on how to know whether a player is a staff or not should be a momentarily solution to stop the problem. I think i like the game because you can freely be whoever you want, as this is not allowed in other console games

I think players like the system how it is now, I certainly do. No one likes been locked into one name! It's fun to mess around sometimes with different names. + I imagine people who take hold of popular names and try to sell them for IRL money.

I was surprised that you can edit your name anytime, most games just lock it or you need to pay to rename. Very unique.
