Mpx doesn't have it's own stats. You set your own personal stats to what you prefer. So basically there are different stats. And Bitzsam made a thread on all the guns stats. Look there for the Mp5 stats.

Well the you know that place where the bullet appears when you fire the gun? Yeah that matters too. For Vector that "bullet placement" is much further than the gun's appearance itself so the vector basically have an advantage. Also if you don't know what i mean then put it this way: The bullet fired from a vector will be closer to you (distance wise), like a bullet from a sniper, than a bullet from a gm4.
A way to test this:
1) Get a dude with Vector
2) Go to the small island (that little box) below storm virous
3) There should be 2 tables and 2 chairs (up and down)
4) Get the vector guy to sit on the bottom chair
5) You sit on the top chair
6) Have a different tag than the vector gun and ask him to shoot up at you
-You should then receive dmg from his vector and the distance between you two are pretty far (since the table is pretty wide itself and you'd need a sniper to pull of the feat of shooting over a obstacle)
