VIP Broom Not Working on Water

Excatly what the title says
The broomstick gives you a speed bost when you ride it
Same when you ride it on water
But when i try to ride it on water
It no longer works
It makes me swim instead
So i dont get a speedboost

Is anyone having the same problem?

It used to work on the water, must be a bug. If not, then it was never intended to be flown on top of water and this was a fix.

If you used to but now you cant, like A Ace said, most likely a fix.

It was meant to be able to float on water
If it wasnt they wouldve patched the bug...... 3 years ago

Well would you want something only to obtain via VIP happen again? Probably not, should stay rare.

so if u buy a weapon from 2013 that shows you're from 2013
you wont get mad when a guy who started in 2016 obtains that weapon?

This was meant to happen on purpose because of a glitch that players did were it allowed them to equip a weapon for example a pbp shotgun, and after doing the glitch you could have flew across the water and use the weapon. I learned this after it happened to me, I killed a big crab (the summer event ones that gave you the red crab claws when you killed them) and the guy who spawned it got angry and chased me across the Ocean killing me using this glitch.
