If you know me,
And I don't know you,
Then I guess I'm famous enough!
I don't see anything.
Computer Science major? I don't know. What's GS2?日本語が少し出来ます。でも、「Weeb? ??じゃないですよ!
It's a weird shape. That's not what a blade looks like.
The shading is messed up, you're on the right track, but the lighting appears to be pillow shaded in a way; it's really contrasted.
Good job though
I like how you tried to make it appear rustic and used, however there is a lot that can be improved upon.
- The hilt itself isn't very appealing, try using a reference from here.
- The shading is flat, this isn't something you can immediately improve upon, but rather with practice and time.
- The handle is a little too short, look here for an example on how much you should extend it by.
- The blade itself also contains a lot of jaggies, refer to this post for some assistance in removing them and overall making your melee better shaded.
Solid effort though.
My Attitude depends on Yours and if you don't like it, i don't really care.

Good attempt at a first try.
Here's some tips.
-Reduce jaggies (Smooth-en your sword) and avoid over-outlining (thickening outline at some points)
-Fix the shading at the hilt to match the location of the light source
-Remember to AA some parts, to create a less jaggy appearance.
I can't think of any more but here's an edit I made (If you don't mind) so you can study off of it.

Now, I'm not saying you should shade EXACTLY like me. But I'm just giving you a general idea.
Keep posting more.
