I've been thinking. Why does pbp cost less than bar? Pbp does 12 damage, shooting 4 bullets at 3 damage each equals 12. Bar is only 9 damage. Pbp shoots a wide spread which is harder to dodge. You may say bar is faster but with the hit timer it ends up only about every other bullet shoots if you shoot at max speed.
Because when it was made it didnt have stacked damage.
Then shouldn't either the pbp price get raised or bar made adjustments to be better

The Browning Automatic Rifle (BAR) stats:
Freeze: 0.22, 0.2
Sleep: 0.25, 0.30
Spread: 0.1
Clip: 25
Bullets Fired Per Shot: 1
Can Duel: No
Damage: 9
Price: 200,000
Range: Medium
Therefore, the 75,000 difference is worth it. The BAR is superior to the PBP.
It is 12 because it stacks... (It's really 16 in perfect) I don't see how bar is medium range and pbp is short range when the pbp gets an insane spread making it hard to dodge at long range. The bar is not superior to the pbp because the pbp is OP as are all stacked damage weapons with the exception being the ksg imo.Originally Posted by cmx2us
Lets just say this. It's obvious pbp is better. You can throw all the stat out there u want. When you're in a base and going head to head with someone the pbp wins 9/10 times. Don't spend that extra 15$ iTunes to buy bar because its not worth it. Instead save yourself the money and buy pbp
Don't buy PBP, it's overused. Personally I have a much easier time using any other gun but PBP, PBP has a high freeze and long reload. It's mostly used for killing groups of people or spamming it in doorways.
Then again the whole shotgun system is screwed up because some have stacked damage and others don't, making some shotguns stand out to be overpowered like PBP as it's the most complained about shotgun. All shotguns should not have stacked damage, but all shotguns can get the +1 damage for being improved. For example it could be like:
Normal shotgun
Price: $500
3 (4 improved) damage.
M3
Price: $5000
5 (6 improved) damage.
PL9 shotgun
Price: $15000
4 (5 improved) damage.
Blunderbuss
Price: No longer available to buy.
6 (7 improved) damage.
KSG shotgun
Price: $75000
7 (8 improved) damage.
PBP shotgun
Price: $125000
8 (9 improved) damage.
This way PBP will be back the way it was and back to being balanced, and the only advantage for using a shotgun would be for more bullets per shot and a wider spread, but at the cost of a higher freeze rate and longer reload, but I guess I'm going a bit off topic.
