I stare into the night sky, lit by pumpkins afar
To Halloween, we drink tonight, a grand bazaar.
Skeletons celebrate their birthdays, blood do they crave
Zombies mourn their past, their hands risen from the grave
Decorations so beautiful yet they speak of death
Do we know what Halloween truly means, as of yet?
Be careful of what you celebrate and who you trust
With your small hands, you must hold truth in your palm
Of what Halloween is about, you must do no harm
Celebrate candies, but not the dead long gone
Celebrate great virtues, make brain surpass braun
Celebrate life, sing a song
Know truly what this is, and where you belong
Stay safe this Halloween, guys. Have a great time, and eat candy, but remember truly what Halloween is.
