Iirc you have to ask them first for permission and then credit
Big company like Blizzard will literally lose more money than gain if they file for copyright on a small game like this.

Iirc the owner of toonslab at the time removed the copyrighted item because they didnt want to lose their gralat green ferrari
Let's just say Nintendo was going on a copyright spree around that time.
