The chances of getting a gun, like a minigun in a presents is 2%. Food is easy to get. The chances of getting swords, like cookie sword, is 50% I guess. This was last year. Everything changes. There's no a fixed percentage for items.

The % of getting items in presents depends on which present you open. You have a higher chance to get items in a 500$ gift. In 100$ gifts you have lower chances to get items than in 500$ gifts. But the chances to get a gun in any present is very very low. It is very rare and it is very hard to get a gun in a present.

the gold deagles were the two first items i got last year. i wasnt even looking for guns though.
i'm not gonna be a sucker this year and open over a thousand presents to end up without a heal melee. not worth the funding, id have better chances at auctions.

$300 Presents:
Food: Guaranteed
Melee's: 15%
Hats: 10%
Ec: doesn't exist in $300
Guns: 0.01%
Exotic Coin: doesn't exist in $300

$100 Presents:
Food: 75%
Melee's: 12.5%
Hats: 5%
Ec: doesn't exist in $100
Guns: doesn't exist in $100
Exotic Coin: doesn't exist in $100
