I probably should have worded it better but you would still have to repair your gun, and there would still be perfect, good, rusty shape just the perfect shape wouldn't give you the 1 extra damage, just 1 extra week before needing to repair it I guess. So you would still need to mine

I agree with BiTz. I also have a suggestion. Why not make the gun drop its stats, such as weapon freeze and firerate a bit, but not too much in order to balance out the people not mining anymore.

Too much extra scripting and in the end pointless to do as having less damage when in rusty shape is a huge disadvantage anyway which is why most people (unless they are new players) always repair their guns

ohhh, well in that case, I think it should be fine. But, I thought about it some more, and I still wouldn't implement it. Like many have said, this helps no one but laggers.
