Bar is by far the most overpowered gun to my eyes, no other gun is anywhere close as well balanced as it is, however, everything depends on the need of a gun that you have. You need a gun to pk? Buy bar, you need a forting gun? Buy either bar or p2k, and if you mean business regarding crowd control on forts buy gas launcher. You need a spar gun? Buy either an m4 or a gm4. You need a show off weapon? Buy chemical gun or an exotic item.

Speaking of M107's, why aren't PSG's more prevalent in threads?
I would think that a gun that costs less than the M107 and requires a certain amount of kills might actually be better than the M107 itself.

You have all the ion weapons. Of course you aren't going to use the BAR.

Psg is not that good, its only good if you manage to get the barrel of the gun inside a really crowded circle of people, or to pierce through walls, otherwise is useless, but its indeed the best sniper of the game (yes, i am counting ion sniper too, cloak just makes it fancy, not any better)

Also, if the PSG is so much better and cheaper than the M107's why do I see more people with the M107? Is it because of the kill requirement of the PSG?

And yeah the kill requirement is probably why more people have M107
