okay so my friend has saved up a lot of iTunes (100$) and wants to buy gralats for auctions, I did the math and keep in mind these prices are for Canada. for gralats pack 3 it is 14.69 after tax so I did 100$ divided by 14.69 so he could buy it 6 times for 165k gralats or he could buy gralats pack 2 for 4.19 after tax and buy it 23 times getting you 184k, he does not have a forum account to ask so he asked me to. Can someone back my knowledge up please because he is a bit skeptical buying the cheaper ones.

Technically, US does tax electronic purchases also.

Also, as for you Tallon, just tell him that no business will actually offer an item that is cheaper per unit value.

No, I think's it's more along the lines of every profit a company makes (i.e iTunes, Google Play), the US government takes a small share of.

Basically, iTunes becomes "more expensive" even though the overall price (disregarding inflation) remains the same.
