This happened to me once, what I did is I got another device and tried to log in from there and then it showed the email I clicked the link and it logged me in on my main device that I was originally going to use

If your account identified and when your friend tried to send access email all he gotta do is wait for days sometimes toonslab bug and most off all he have to re download era app make sure his account identified before he re download era app or he gonna lose his account.
