put your original gender, when you were first born, if you've been born as a male but went under the knife to change it, you're still originally a male.

There is no such gender as transgender. It's more of an umbrella term.
Put it whatever you think you are.
The beauty of being transgender is that you can choose either of them and it'll be correct, so why don't you choose one freely instead of having the gender you are?
