Okay so I know guns obviously aren't sellable, and I know that they are never ever going to be sellable, but why exactly? I personally don't really see too much wrong with the idea, maybe I'm not thinking about it hard enough either, but I just want to know why you can't sell them?

I did a double take when I read the title lol.
My guess is that guns play a much bigger impact/ role in the game in comparison to things such as melees.
While some newer players can circumvent this by purchasing the BAR with iTunes, the main point is to "develop" a want for a gradually increasing tier of weapons.
You start with a starter pistol and gradually move on up. Allowing people to sell guns at a cheaper price to their friends is like giving someone who has an hour recorded a shipka.
This system is pay2win at its heart anyway, refunding guns would put the server at a profit loss, and quite frankly thats whatever. What I do find annoying however is that this game expects you to buy a weapon when you dont even know how it will be like, or whether you even value the gun enough to buy it. Ive seen way too many people buy the pbp or bar only to be disappointed because the gun wasnt like they expected.
